CFturbo is an amazing turbomachinery design tool. With just a few parameters it will provide you a really accurate design that will meet the initial requirements.
We have to select the pump design module as we are going to design a pump.
Once we have clicked this it will appear a window where we are going to set the initial requirements.
Then we click OK and we can select the type of impeller to use. In this case we're using a centrifugal impeller. The following window will appear we could either set different parameters or just set everything to automatic mode.
Click OK and a preliminar geometry will appear. Now we are going to click on the meridional contour option, in this window you can modify the blade contour as you want. I recomend not selecting the Trailing edge fixed on outlet option to avoid problems when exporting the model to Simerics.
The second part which will show how to finish the impeller geometry and the volute will be uploaded this weekend.
